Recipes & Kitchen Stories

Tested recipes, cooking tips, and food inspiration for every occasion — written by home cooks, for home cooks.

About Good Foods

We're a team of passionate home cooks and food writers dedicated to making great cooking accessible to every American family.

Our Story

Good Foods started in 2018 in a small Chicago apartment when our founder, Sarah Chen, got tired of recipe sites that listed exotic ingredients nobody stocks and techniques that required professional training. She wanted recipes that worked — every time, with real grocery store ingredients.

What started as a personal blog quickly grew into a community of over 220,000 home cooks across all 50 states who share a love of good, honest food. Today, every recipe on Good Foods is made, tested, and photographed in real home kitchens.

We believe food is one of the most powerful ways to bring people together. A great recipe is an act of generosity — it shares not just ingredients and steps, but a whole tradition of care and hospitality.
